Getting Started

What is FitSlip?: FitSlip is a simple app that lets you log clothing and shoe sizes for anyone you shop for — kids, family members, friends — and share them with a link that's always current. No more group texts asking "what size is she now?"
How do I add a profile?: After signing in, go to your dashboard and click "Add Profile." Enter the person's name, birthday (optional), and start logging sizes. You can add up to 2 profiles on the free plan, or unlimited with Premium.
What sizes can I track?: You can track shirt/top size, pants/bottom size, shoe size (with category like toddler, little kid, big kid), height, and weight. Each entry is dated so you can see how sizes change over time.

How does the share link work?: Every profile has a unique share link (e.g. fitslip.app/k/abc123). Anyone with the link can view the current sizes — no account needed. The link always shows the latest data, so you never need to resend it.
Can I customize my share link?: Yes! Premium users can customize the slug in their share link (e.g. fitslip.app/k/sophie) instead of using the random token. You can change it anytime from the profile page.
Can I stop sharing a profile?: Yes. From the profile page, you can revoke the share link at any time. The old link will stop working immediately. You can also generate a new link if you want to reset access.

What's included in Premium?: Premium unlocks unlimited profiles, custom share links, growth analytics (WHO/CDC percentile curves, shoe-size projections, and milestone timeline), and share page themes. The basic size tracking and sharing stays free.
What are growth percentile curves?: Premium users can overlay WHO (0–5 years) and CDC (2–20 years) growth reference percentile bands on the growth chart. This shows where the child's height and weight fall relative to standard growth curves — for shopping guidance, not medical advice.
What are shoe-size projections?: FitSlip analyzes the growth trend from your size entries and predicts when the next shoe size will be needed (e.g. "likely size 12 by ~April"). This helps you plan ahead for shopping trips and gift-giving occasions.
What is the milestone timeline?: The milestone timeline shows key growth moments: first recorded sizes, size changes over time, and growth threshold achievements (like reaching 1 meter or 10 kg). It's a fun way to track how kids grow.

How do stale-size reminders work?: If a size entry hasn't been updated in 3 months, FitSlip shows a gentle nudge on the dashboard. This helps you remember to double-check sizes that might be outdated — especially useful for fast-growing kids.
Can I turn off reminders?: Reminders are a core part of keeping sizes current. They're always visible on the dashboard but never sent as push notifications or emails, so they won't interrupt your day.

How do I sign in?: You can sign in with email and password, a magic link sent to your email, or Google. If you started with a magic link, you can set a password later from Settings.
How do I upgrade to Premium?: Go to Settings and click "Upgrade to Premium." You'll be redirected to our secure checkout. After payment, premium features are unlocked immediately on your account.
Can I cancel Premium?: Yes. You can cancel anytime from Settings. Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan.
Is my data secure?: Your data is stored securely with row-level security policies — only you can see and edit your profiles. Share links are public but use unguessable random tokens. We never sell your data.
